Mocaverse, the Metaverse project of Animoca Brands, announced a strategic partnership with SK Planet, a leading information and communications technology company in South Korea, on November 26, 2024. SK Planet will join the Realm Network by integrating Mocaverse’s Realm SDK into its product ecosystem.
This integration of the Realm SDK is projected to bring SK Planet’s 28 million KYC-verified users into the Web3 space. Mocaverse has previously partnered with two other platforms utilizing the Realm SDK:
- One Football: A platform focused on traditional sports leagues.
- MyAnimeList: A platform dedicated to anime and manga content.
With the addition of SK Planet, over 250 million monthly users across these three platforms will have access to a shared ecosystem encompassing gaming, sports, music, and more. This collaboration aims to create a seamless and multifaceted user experience within the Mocaverse.
Furthermore, SK Planet plans to utilize MOCA, Mocaverse’s native token, as a medium of exchange within its ecosystem. Users will also be rewarded with MOCA tokens for engaging with SK Planet’s products, such as OK Cashbag and Syrup.

South Korea, with its strong consumer market for Web3, its culture focused on intellectual property (IP), and its emphasis on innovation, makes SK Planet an ideal partner for us to establish a presence in this key market.”
“Through this partnership with Animoca Brands and Mocaverse, we aim to enhance customer experiences in the South Korean market,” stated Kim Kyo-soo, CBO of SK Planet. “We will strive to become an effective connecting channel, providing innovative solutions that cater to the needs of Korean consumers.”
This collaboration with SK Planet not only expands Mocaverse’s presence in South Korea but also reinforces Animoca Brands’ vision of building a global network connecting Web3 platforms. South Korea, with its tech-savvy population and IP-centric culture, is considered a promising market for Metaverse development. This strategic partnership positions Mocaverse for significant growth and solidifies its commitment to fostering a vibrant and interconnected Web3 landscape.
